a little holiday cheer


to make this card, start with a 12 x 4 inch piece of paper, folded length-wise to form a 6x4 in. card of bazzill or textured paper. cut out a 5 1/4 x 3 1/4 in. rectangle of black bazzill. cut a 5x3 in. rectangle of beige bazzill. glue the two rectangles together in the middle, leaving a 1/8 border all the way around. attach the double rectangles to the card using eyelets in all four corners, making sure to leave a 1/2 inch-ish boarder all the way around the card. cut out three triangles from green bazzill. cut a square from brown bazzill, and punch out a star from yellow bazzill. glue them to the beige rectangle, starting with the trunk, then the three triangles (make sure to overlap, finally glue the star on top. stamp a holiday message onto the beige bazzill, and glue it to a piece of black bazzill for a border. glue to the inside of the card.
